Avenida Rio Branco

It is one of the most fashionable places in Rio. Avenida Rio Branco is located very close to Cinelândia. This avenue was modeled after an elegant Parisian boulevard when it was first built at the beginning of the 20th century. The place still has a refreshing old world charm and attracts many visitors who gaze at it spell bound.

This is one of the few original buildings that once lined the street which has weathered the passage of time and survived.
