The Itanhanga Golf Club came into existence on 16 of May, 1933. This was a significant landmark in the city of Rio. It is one of the most picturesque golf courses and provides a feast for the eyes.

The Itanhanga Golf Club is one of the oldest in Rio. It is situated in a lush valley and it has the full 18 holes spread over a large green area with plenty of trees. Its sylvan beauty attracts avid golfers.

They have all the modern facilities. The course is really beautiful, challenging to play and there is the added charm of the polo club being nearby. There is a private car park and an attractive clubhouse where you can unwind after a tiring day's play. It is located in Barra da Tijuca, not far from the city centre.
