Flumenese Football Club

It is one of the oldest clubs of the region. The state of Rio de Janeiro Football Club got its first headquarters on 17th October 1902. Initially the club had a different location which was changed to its present location.

The date of 14th August1904 became a remarkable date in the history of the Football Club. This was the day when the first interstate game in the field of the Street Guanabara was carried through, against the Paulistano. This was the inaugural game of the new square of sport in Rio De Janeiro.

They had been 806 paying partners and 190 not- partners in the ticket office. This was the first time the residents along with the expatriates were able to witness the fine match.

In 1905, Eduardo Guinle constructed the first stadium of a wooden type within the fields of soccer of Rio De Janeiro. From that time onwards, the club has always remained in action. People come to view the fine sport and watch their favorite sport stars performing and scoring the winning goal.
