Clube de Regatas Vasco da Gama

It is one of the largest venues for entertainment. Sprawling within an area of 56,000 square meters, Clube de Regatas comprises of a soccer field, an aquatic park, multipurpose gymnasium with capacity for 5 thousand people.

It has three fields for recreation and training, three fields of tennis. It has all the installations for Olympics, concentration for housing of 90 athletes and room with the most modern equipment. Vasco is the only Brazilian club with all these resources. The club also houses a restaurant, a snack bar, four bars, the hall of trophies, a mini- hospital and computer room. The soccer stadium can accommodate a public of 40,000.

The Gymnasium of Is Januário was inaugurated on 23 of September 1956. The gymnasium is multipurpose. It has recently been renovated and its capacity has registered a tremendous increase from 1,000 spectators to 2,500. The Aquatic Park of Is Januário was established on 30 of August of 1953 Four swimming pools compose the aquatic complex: an Olympic, another one for ornamental jumps and two minors.
