Popular Beaches in Rio
Most famous beaches in Rio are the Ipanema and Copacobana beaches. The song "The Girl from Ipanema" was inspired by the Ipanema beach in the city of Rio which was a hit in the year 1964. Upscale cafes and world class restaurants can be found in this beach but beware because this is one of the expensive places in Rio. The beach has a 2 km long stretch of white sand. While the Copacobana beach is more famous than Ipanema, it is in this district where Copacobana Palace Hotel was built. Though this beach seems to be modern, nudity is not allowed yet thongs can be seen worn by almost everyone.

Posted by Janica, 21 February, 2008We have a very wealthy client who paid for our 3 days stay at Caesar Park. We never thought we would ever experience such luxury. It may just be a one time experience but it was worth remembering.
