This traditional store in the city center opened recently in Ipanema, is a vital destination for book and jazz music lovers.

The unique store sells mostly imported books on photography, cinema and the arts in general, but you will find a nice selection of all subjects and bestsellers too. It also sells CDs and calendars.

You can spend good hours browsing with jazz music playing in the background and a small café in the mezzanine where you can eat snacks while surfing through the newly acquired books. The interior of the store is worth a visit. With its lovely wooden floor- to- ceiling shelves and black- and- white checkered floor tiles, this beautiful store positively invites browsing sessions of several hours or more.

They have a good collection of English books, including all the usual paperback books plus children's books and guidebooks. This is a delighting corner for the young minds who yearn to learn more from the world around them.
