RIO DE JANEIRO INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL

The Rio de Janeiro international short film festival – curta cinema - is a competitive festival for 16mm and 35mm films and digital videos which takes place annually in the months of November/December in at least three venues in Rio de Janeiro. The CURTA CINEMA is the main forum in Rio de Janeiro for the exhibition and discussion of the importance of shorts in the film industry.

The Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival – Curta Cinema 2006 will take place during November 30th through December 10th, 2006, in at least three venues in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The upcoming edition of the Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival – Curta Cinema 2006 will start on November 30th, with the traditional Opening Night at the Cine Odeon BR theatre.

Besides the exhibition of the recent Brazilian and International production in the short film format, the Festival also presents several other parallel activities, which will be announced throughout the year.
