Do you wish to see the majestic constellations and twinkling stars right before your eyes? The place where you can see all the wonders created along with the other celestial objects is the Planetarium constructed in Rio. It gives you a taste of heaven.

The Planetarium in Rio was established in 1970. This is an excellent place to get familiar with the constellations of the Southern Hemisphere or simply to gaze at enchanting, twinkling stars. The planetarium provides you with invaluable knowledge on the galaxy with its myriads of stars.

Guided tours are available in Portuguese. They are geared to children, teenagers and even adults. The complex offers courses, workshops and expositions, as well as a theater.

The planetarium is an adventurous ‘trip to space.' The planetarium helps one to attain knowledge of Astronomy, movements of the Land and eclipses and new discoveries of various planets.
